Interlume Terms of Service

Last updated: October 26, 2026

1. Agreement

These terms are a contract between you and MinMax Holdings LLC (“we”). By using Interlume (the “Service”) you accept them. If you use the Service for an organisation, you confirm you may bind it.

2. What the Service is

The Service translates live video calls using automated systems. Translation is machine-generated and may be inaccurate or incomplete. The Service is not a human interpreter, is not a substitute for one where the law or a professional standard requires one, and must not be relied on for medical, legal, emergency or financial decisions.

3. Who may use it

This version of the Service has no accounts and no fees. You must be an adult to start a call. Guests join by invitation without an account.

4. Consent and lawful use

You are responsible for telling everyone on your call, before they take part, that the call is translated by an automated system and that their voice is sent to a translation provider, and for obtaining any consent the law requires where you and they are located. Some jurisdictions, including Illinois, require the consent of every participant to recording or interception. If you record a call by any means, that is your responsibility, not ours.

5. Acceptable use

You will not use the Service to break the law, to harass, to make unsolicited or automated calls, to impersonate anyone, to process information you are not permitted to disclose, or to interfere with the Service. You will not use the Service to process protected health information; the Service is not offered for that purpose.

6. Our property, your content

We own the Service and its software. You own your calls and content. You give us only the rights needed to run the Service for you, including sending call audio and text to our providers for translation. We do not claim ownership of your content and do not use it to advertise.

7. Feedback

If you send us suggestions we may use them without obligation to you.

8. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or end access for breach of these terms or where required by law, and will tell you why unless the law prevents it.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not promise that translations will be accurate, that calls will connect, or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all implied warranties.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from the Service, and our total liability for any claim is limited to one hundred US dollars.

11. Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify us against claims arising from your use of the Service in breach of these terms, including any failure to obtain consent from the people on your calls.

12. Governing law and disputes

Illinois law governs these terms. Disputes are heard in the state or federal courts in Cook County, Illinois.

13. Changes

We may update these terms. We will post the new version with its date and, for material changes, notify you in the Service before they apply. Continued use after that is acceptance.
